I used to handle my inquiries, screening, all the little details in between. For a while it worked, until it didn’t. With the volume of emails I receive each week, I started noticing how much my inbox was pulling me out of the moment.
Not every inquiry is genuine either and sorting through them takes more time than most people would assume. And on top of that, time is also needed to schedue returning suitors. My life outside of this world is intentionally full and I am selective about where my time goes, especially time that’s meant to be shared with you.
Which is why I now have an assistant.
She handles the behind the scenes. Screening, scheduling, all the logistics that have no place in the experience we share. She understands my standards and what I allow into my life, which means by the time she passes things over to me, the groundwork is already done.
I know handing your personal information to someone who isn’t me can feel a little uncomfortable. But the reality is, she also holds all of mine. I wouldn’t ask you to do something I haven’t already done myself. She handles everything with care and discretion, and she’s built a reputation for being not only reliable, but highly efficient.
Truthfully, I don’t personally need to see your LinkedIn profile or know job title. Let her take care of the logistics. I’m far more interested in whether you sleep with your socks on, or if you occasionally have pizza for breakfast – you know… the details that actually make you interesting. We can save that for when we meet.
First dates are always better with a little mystery and curiosity. And ideally, a little dessert before dinner.
So, if your email makes it through, it means we’re already off to a good start. Once your deposit is received, we’ll begin planning our time together.
I’ll see you soon.
